Man dies in A1 tragedy north of Grantham

A man in his 50s died early today in a collision on the A1 north of Grantham.
The tragedy happened near Gonerby Moor and involved a car and a van.
Another man was also injured and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
In a statement, Lincolnshire Police said the next of kin of the deceased have been informed.
The statement continued: "The collision was reported at 5.43 am this morning. The investigation is ongoing and diversions are in place.
"If you saw the collision please call 101 with reference 64 of today (13 August)."
