Two Neighbourhood Plans have been backed by voters just outside Grantham in last week's local elections.

The Ropsley and District Neighbourhood Plan gained the support of 261 voters, with 37 voting against, in a referendum.

The Old Somerby saw a narrow victory of 60 in favour and 49 against in its referendum.

With majorities for both Neighbourhood Plans, it means the Neighbourhood Plan can be used by South Kesteven District Council when assessing planning applications in their areas.
