Two open days are being held at Grantham Police Station for anyone interested in the role of town enquiry officer.

The events are an opportunity to gain a good understanding of the role, how you could contribute to the success of the town enquiry office and the benefits of working in a unique environment.

There will be the opportunity to tour the office and speak to current staff and managers to ask any questions about the role.

The office will be open on Thursday, 24 October from 9am to 12noon and again on Saturday, 26 October from 12noon to 4pm.

The salary for the full-time position is £17,643 per annum based on a 40-hour working week, including evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will provide 'an efficient and comprehensive enquiry service' to members of the public both face-to-face and on the telephone.

They will also provide a wide-ranging administration service to departments based at the police station.
