Jogger attacked by dog in Kelby: Police appeal for witnesses

A jogger needed stitches after being attacked and bitten by an Alsatian dog in Kelby, near Grantham.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Friday, 26 July.

A force spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 50s was bitten by an Alsatian in Kelby, Grantham.

"The victim was out jogging near Kelby Lodge when the attack happened and he sustained a bite on his thigh.

"This occurred at 10.30am on Friday, 26 July and a young boy then attended and took control of the dog.

"The victim required stitches and medication.

"Investigating officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident."
