Grantham area residents can once more have their NHS hearing aids repaired free of charge at a relaunched clinic in town.

The Grantham hearing aid basic maintenance clinic is now re-opening on Wednesday July 28 from 10am until 12 noon and every two weeks afterwards.

The service is open and free to all NHS hearing aid users.

Spokesman Tony Bailey said: "We can carry out basic maintenance, i.e. ear mould cleaning, re-tubing and supplying new batteries.

"As long as you have a hearing aid supplied by the National Health and you can supply us with your National health number, the above service is COMPLETELY FREE."

The clinic is a charity for Lincolnshire Sensory Services , who works with Lincolnshire County Council in delivering such services.

The clinic can be found in the Grantham Senior Citizens Community Centre. Welham Hall, Welham Street, Grantham.

Tony added: "Come along and have a free cup of tea or coffee while you wait for your hearing aid to be serviced."
