Grantham's Savoy Cinema has announced it's re-opening date.

The venue has been closed since March.

The re-opening date of July 25 was announced just now on social media.

A Savoy spokeswoman told Nub News: "We will be opening on the 25th just in time for the release of Christopher Nolan's Tenet, and our live event 42nd street.

"Tenet will be the first blockbuster cinematic release since lockdown so it's and exiting time for Savoy and cinema as a whole."

She added: "We're looking forward to bringing the Savoy experience back to Grantham!"
