Grantham is to lose one of its branches of Boots from tomorrow (Saturday).

Staff at its branch on St Peters Hill were clearing out the premises this week in preparation for the closure.

A company spokesman told Grantham Nub News: "At Boots UK, we continually review our store locations to make sure they are where our customers need us most. It is never a decision we take lightly when looking to close a store.

"We can confirm we will be consolidating our store on St Peters Hill in Grantham into the neighbouring store on Grantham High Street in the coming days, which is a just a few minutes' walk away.

"All of our affected colleagues have been informed and will be offered jobs within Boots stores."

Grantham also has another Boots at 62 London Road.
