Grantham on course for another gym

Another gym has been approved for Grantham.

South Kesteven District Council has approved a proposal concerning Unit 33 of the London Road Industrial Estate, London Road, Grantham.

Mrs Morgan of Langford Gardens, Grantham, sought a change the use of the 222.43m2 unit into a personal training studio/ gym.

Her planning application to SKDC said the unit was previously used by a courier company as an office and storage space.

It also said she plans to open the venue between 6am and 9pm weekdays and from 8am to 12 noon on a Saturday.

The decision, released earlier this month, follows other gym openings in Grantham town centre.

In September 2019, Clubfit 24 opened in Watergate.

And in late 2018, Feelgood Fitness opened in the George Centre.
