Grantham Gallery: New Aldi taking shape off Harlaxton Road

Grantham's new Aldi is taking shape, with work starting on erecting its shell and roof.
Construction began in May, when preparations started on the site on the corner of Trent Road and Harlaxton Road.
The car parking and external areas also appear to be progressing well.
The scheme plans to replace the current Aldi off South Parade.
The new store was approved by South Kesteven District Council last July, with councillors welcoming an improved design, as reported by Nub News.
The discount retailer expects to open the new store early in 2022.
Ten jobs will be created, with staff also transferred from the existing store to the new one.
