Grantham MP Gareth Davies receives first vaccine

Grantham MP Gareth Davies has joined the 38 million people who have received a COVID vaccine. Visiting the vaccination centre at the Grantham Meres for his first jab.

The 37-year-old said: "The progress made in distributing and delivering vaccine doses across the country has been phenomenal and I pay tribute to the NHS, the armed forces and Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) for their continued hard work. I urge everyone to accept the offer of a vaccine when it is their turn."

The latest vaccination statistics show that 103,310 vaccine doses have been administered throughout the constituency. Anybody aged 30 and above is now eligible to receive their first dose which can be booked online.
