Grantham man arrested following A17 collision

A Grantham man has been arrested following a collision on the A17 at the weekend.

Lincolnshire Police say the collision near the Holdingham Roundabout, Sleaford, was reported to them at 10.23am yesterday.

It involved an Audi A6 and a Toyota Aygo.

Emergency services attended and the driver of the Aygo, a woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a man in his 40s from the Grantham area, has been arrested.

Anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has dashcam footage, is asked to ring 101 quoting Incident 72 of 15th November.

The road was closed for a time following the incident but it has now re-opened.
