Grantham Lions unveiled a commemorative bench in Dysart Park to celebrate the club's fifty years of service to the people of Grantham.

Famous for their work with Santa in December and many other fund raising events, Grantham Lions have raised significant sums for local good causes.

The bench has been created by Grantham-based steel fabricating company Roll & Scroll, who have gained national acclaim for their benches.

Pictured is Grantham Lion President Godfrey Mackinder and Town Mayor Councillor Dean Ward.

Mayor Ward told Nub News: "Grantham Lions raise so much money for good causes with their events and get togethers so just for that reason, it was an honour and privilege to be there."
