This week, a successful software business in Grantham is looking for a database administrator. Here is a brief job description.

"GSA Techsource has partnered with a successful software business currently looking for a passionate database administrator to join their team.

You will be monitoring, maintaining, and supporting their Oracle database is Oracle Cloud. In addition to this you will support in the administration, backup, and integrity of various Oracle databases and BI servers.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career or someone with a little experience looking to join a business that has great values and a flexible working environment.

Skills we are looking for include:

- Proven interest in relational databases such as Oracle/ SQL Server or MySQL (relevant university projects/ web creation will also be considered)

- Knowledge of SQL

- Knowledge/ interest in technology ( servers, storage systems, database)

- If you have any experience with Linux Shell/ python scripting, that is a bonus. In return for your hardwork and dedication, you will be rewarded with great training and development opportunities within the business. Post covid we are happy to consider partial work from home options dependent on level of ability, currently we are working fully remote.
