Hospital campaigners will be marking five years of vigils outside Grantham Hospital tomorrow.
Today (Tuesday), marks the 5th anniversary since the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust ended overnight services in Grantham Hospital's A&E department.
The move led to a whole plethora of campaigns against the unpopular move, which included the regular vigil.
Campaigner Melissa Darcey told Nub News: "Today (17th) marks the 5th anniversary of the night-time closure of Grantham A&E and there is still lots left to fight for.
"For 5 whole years, each week, our amazing vigilers have stood outside OUR local hospital to raise awareness of this closure and the risk to people's lives.
"They will be there again tomorrow (18th) from 5pm till around 7pm, there will be some nibbles for those who attend and we really would love to invite anyone who is still passionate about Saving Our Services to come and see us for a friendly chat and to reflect on what we have lost and more importantly what we can still fight for! "
Melissa continued: "Is Anyone Listening Lincolnshire, Fighting 4 Life Lincolnshire and SOSGrantham Hospital is still fighting to restore all of our services lost, and we welcome anyone who wishes to help and support us."
