Here is what the organisers have to say about the Caythorpe Gala, which is taking place on Saturday September 4 on the Caythorpe Playing Field.

"Caythorpe's Annual Gala forms part of the Arnhem Weekend in the village.

"This year we have over 35 stalls booked including vintage games and a vast array of artisan fineries!

"We also have a big BBQ, a bar, cold and hot refreshments, lots of cake and a traditional ice cream van.

"We've also got a Dog Show, Bouncy Castle, Welly Wanging, Police Bikes, a Tug o War, Caythorpe v Veterans Football Match and ABBA Stars Tribute Band… the event kicks off at 12pm and finishes at 4pm!
