Aiming to build a brighter future for the town is the Grantham Business Club.

With this in mind, the club is opening invitations for for businesspeople to join its AGM on Wednesday, 10 February 2021 at 6pm.

Club chairman Susan Swinburn said on social media : "We will hear from Dean Harrison, new owner of Grantham's iconic Angel and Royal Hotel, about the refurbishments and his plans for the future.

"If he is available, Gareth Davies MP, for Grantham and Stamford, will be giving an update from Westminster about the support that's available to help local businesses survive and then thrive post COVID.

"And you can personally help shape the future of the Grantham Business Club. We are looking for members who would be interested in joining the Business Club committee, and we invite you to register your interest in the first instance by emailing the club chair: [email protected]"

The Business Club committee meets once every other month to plan events and select guest speakers for club meetings. When people register their interest, they will be sent joining instructions to a Zoom meeting with the current committee members at 5pm on Wednesday, 3 February.

They will be welcomed by the members and participants can ask any questions they may have.

Susa added: "So, let's work together to plan for a brighter future; for Grantham, its businesses and its people. Together we CAN make a difference."

Please note that all attendees will need to register for the event, which can be done by clicking here.
