The South Lincolnshire Green Party is highlighting a range of events for the Great Big Green Week.

The week runs from Saturday September 18 to Sunday September 26.

With events to raise local climate awareness across the UK, it promises to be the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK.

The week starts on Saturday, with a litter pick by the River Witham, followed by a protest outside Grantham Barracks on Sunday against plans to destroy trees and wildlife as part of a major housing scheme.

Wednesday September 22 will see wine tasting at Grantham House, followed the party having a stall on Grantham's Saturday market.

There will also be a protest on St Peter's Hill on Sunday about the climate emergency.

The South Lincolnshire Green Party will also be preparing for COP26 to be held in Glasgow in November.

Members will also be attending St Wulfram's METANOIA weekend, during October 1-3rd , aiming to see our planet from a new perspective.
