Grantham: 'Sexual assault' follows Forbidden Forest

A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted after attending a festival south-east of Grantham.

Lincolnshire Police this afternoon said they were appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information following a report of a sexual assault that took place in the early hours of Sunday (5th September).

This was reported to have happened in or near the village of Edenham. The victim, in her early 20s, had earlier attended the Forbidden Forest Festival at Grimsthorpe Castle, near Bourne.

Lincolnshire Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
