Four young people working with Galliford Try on the Grantham Southern Relief Road shared their experiences with others interested in exploring engineering as a profession.

Galliford Try's Grantham Southern Relief Road apprentices Liam Cannell and Jay Lawes, along with graduate engineers Lauren Shaw and Edith Mugariri, took time out of their busy schedules to represent Galliford Try and the Grantham Southern Relief Road during Grantham College's career fair last week.

The team shared their personal experiences and career paths with attendees during the event, providing other young people with a unique insight into engineering as a profession.

They also provided details of the potential and diverse opportunities within the construction industry. The event was a great success and we were delighted we had so many visitors to our stand, both male and female students expressed their interest in the construction industry.

Gino Salvatore, Liaison Manager for Galliford Try, said: "Engaging and encouraging young people to explore potential careers in the construction industry is a high priority to us.

"The industry has so many opportunities. It is our intention to ensure that young people are made aware of what a career in construction can offer."
