A new use has been proposed for the former Grantham's former Pizza Hut.
The restaurant closed towards the end of last year, following the first lockdown, as part of a nationwide closure programme.
As Nub News reported, it also followed the closure of a Pizza Hut take-away outlet on Watergate early last year.
A planning application to South Kesteven District Council reveals Lionacre Properties seek to convert the former Pizza Hut on the corner of London Road and Springfield Road.
If approved, the changes would see a drive to restaurant and a drive to restaurant with an ancillary drive-thru lane.
Some 15 full time and 20 part-time jobs would be created with the venue open from 10am to 11pm 7 days a week.
Restaurant floorspace would decrease from 335m2 to 280m2 and the number of parking spaces would reduce from 28 to 21, the application added.
South Kesteven District Council has yet to determine the application.
In Lincoln, Lionacre Properties has planning approval for two Taco Bells. Work on the first in a former Pizza Hut in Nettleham Road started in February this year, with the new venue due open this summer. The second Taco Bell has gained approval for lower High Street.
