Environmental charity PECT has teamed up with South Kesteven District Council to offer residents access to a free energy advice service.

The aim is to help households manage energy use, save money and reduce their impact on the environment.

The Warm Homes project provides a free home visit from a friendly and impartial advisor who will offer advice on behavioural changes, choosing the best energy tariff and supplier, and managing your water bills.

If eligible, you will also be offered support to access the national Warm Home Discount and other funding opportunities for home improvements.

"The project has already helped more than 1,000 households in Peterborough, South Holland and Cambridge over the last two years," explains Project Officer Emma Thurley.

"We are delighted to be able to extend the service to now work in the Fenland and South Kesteven areas to help local residents save money and home energy."

The project has been part funded by The Fenland Green Power Co-operative.

To book your free energy advice home visit or to find out more, call Emma on 01733 568408 or email [email protected].
