An elderly woman has been found dead in a village north of Grantham.

Police, including a forensics team, and an ambulance were seen at the location in Manthorpe.

Lincolnshire Police told Nub News this afternoon: "At 10.50am this morning we were called to reports of an elderly woman who had been found dead outside of a property in High Road, Manthorpe, near Grantham.

"Officers were on scene for several hours today conducting initial enquiries, and it is not believed to be suspicious.

"The matter has been referred to the coroner."
