Work is underway on the planned new Aldi in Grantham.
Last month, construction workers began preparing the site on the corner of Trent Road and Harlaxton Road.
The scheme plans to replace the current Aldi off South Parade.
The new store was approved by South Kesteven District Council last July, with councillors welcoming an improved design, as reported by Nub News.
An Aldi spokesperson said: "Construction for our new Grantham and Stamford stores is progressing well. We hope to open our new Grantham store on the corner of Harlaxton Road and Trent Road in early 2022, which will create up to 10 jobs for the community.
"Our Uffington Road store in Stamford will open its doors in November, creating up to 40 jobs for the local people at a time when they are more important than ever."
Earlier today Aldi announced it is looking to open a supermarket in Bourne and a further outlet in the Deepings.
In Lincolnshire, a full list of locations it is targeting in Lincolnshire featured Old Clee, Epworth, Central Lincoln, Boston, Bourne, Branston, Holbeach Clough, Horncastle and Market Deeping.
The move follows Aldi also gaining planning permission from South Kesteven District Council last year for a supermarket off Uffington Road, as Nub News reported here.
Aldi currently has 900 stores across the UK and is currently Britain's fifth largest supermarket chain.
Aldi has said it plans to open 100 new stores across the UK in a £1.3 billion of investment by the end of 2022, as it revealed sales continued to jump higher.
Some 4,000 jobs would be created next year in an expansion plan as part of wider ambitions to have 1,200 stores by 2025.
The retailer is seeking freehold town-centre or edge-of-centre sites suitable for development.
It says each site should be around 1.5 acres and able to accommodate a 20,000 sq ft store with around 100 parking spaces, ideally on a prominent main road and with good visibility and access.
Ciaran Aldridge, National Property Director at Aldi UK, said: "We have been investing in Britain for more than 30 years now, but we know that there are still areas that either do not have an Aldi at all, or that need another store to meet customer demand.
"Shoppers are increasingly looking to get unbeatable prices on their weekly shop without compromising on quality.
"That's why, more so than ever, we're keen to explore all opportunities to open new stores across the country."
