Driver flees scene after three-vehicle collision closes A151

The driver of a Ford Focus involved in a three-vehicle collision on the A1 last night ran from the scene and is still being sought by police.

The collision, reported at 11.50pm, took place at the junction with the A151 towards Corby Glen and caused the northbound carriageway to be closed until 4.30am this morning.

A white Ford Focus, Vauxhall van and silver Vauxhall Corsa were involved and one woman suffered a minor injury.

Lincolnshire Police say the driver of the Focus fled the scene on foot and, despite the drone unit being deployed, could not be found. Police are still trying to locate them.
