Testing for Coronavirus has returned to Grantham this week.

A testing facility has been set up in the car park of the Meres Leisure Centre on Trent Road.

This morning, the centre issued the following statement: "Due to the centre car park being used for Covid-19 testing the main car park will be unavailable from today through till Friday.

"Please use alternative parking on the left as you come off the roundabout, the stadium car park on the right or the parking bays on the left hand side as you approach the main centre.

"We appreciate your co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause."

The move comes after the centre re-opened to the public yesterday after being closed since March due to the pandemic.

The venue has been used for testing before, including in April.
