Panto fans can enjoy the spellbinding fairy-tale of Sleeping Beauty safely in the comfort of their own home thanks to South Kesteven's arts centres – oh yes they can!

Christmas just isn't the same without one, so Grantham Guildhall and Stamford Arts Centres are thrilled to be able to stream the magic of pantomime directly to living rooms across the district.

With many venues still closed for live performances, Polka Dot Pantomimes is working with Original Online Panto Company to give everyone a fantastic opportunity to have fun while supporting local venues and professional theatre.

Benidorm and I'm A Celebrity favourite Crissy Rock stars as Fairy Nuff, alongside Rebecca Lake as the beautiful Princess Aurora, Chris Pym as Prince Harry, Robert Squire as Nanny Nora Knickerdrawer, Charlie Griffiths as the evil Carabosse, Nick Wymer as King Stefan and the hilarious Andrew Curphey as Chester The Jester.

Councillor Rosemary Trollope-Bellew, SKDC's Cabinet Member for Culture and Visitor Economy, said: "With so much uncertainty about how we can celebrate Christmas at the end of this extraordinary year, there's no better way to bring some laughter and family fun into your home this festive season.

"I'd recommend getting your snacks and drinks ready, joining in with the laughs, boos and cheers - and having plenty of festive fun.

"Polka Dot Pantomimes traditionally bring their much-loved productions to our venues and we are delighted to support each other with this online offer."

With dazzling costumes, spectacular scenery and amazing special effects, Sleeping Beauty really is the pantomime you've been dreaming of. Audiences are invited book now for this amazing Christmas treat. It was filmed in front of a live audience in Runcorn to ensure a magical atmosphere.

The streaming link (available from 14 December) costs just £15.49 via www.guildhallartscentre.com or www.stamfordartscentre.com where there are full access details for any device.
