Help and advice on how people can safely re-open their business is now available from South Kesteven District Council.

SKDC leader Kelham Cooke has tweeted that since some businesses were considering re-opening, the council decided to offer advice to them on its website.

Coun Cooke told Nub News he welcomes businesses re-opening as long as they follow government guidelines.

He continued: "We have set up our own webpage for businesses re-opening and how they do so with social distancing and protecting staff and customers.

"If they have any queries or concerns they can also look at the government website of they can get in touch with us.

"It's ever changing. We are here to support the businesses that are looking forward to re-opening."

  • Businesses that are re-opening can also tell their stories to Nub News. How has the lockdown affected your business? How are you now doing things differently? What impact has the pandemic had on the future direction of your business. If you have a story to tell, and many businesses have already shared their experiences with us, email your story along with your contact details to [email protected]
  • *Businesses, why not promote yourselves using the new 'local list' section of Nub News? Go to our website and at the top of the page, where it says 'local list' you then 'nub' your details. Many businesses have done so already, so why not join them with this free service. What have you to lose?
