The Matalan store in Grantham has re-opened.

Staff at the store in the Dysart Retail Park said the shop re-opened on Thursday.

The re-opening comes as part of a gradual nationwide process, which began on May 18.

Matalan said on its website: "These stores will operate with enhanced health and safety measures and be fully compliant with social distancing rules.

"All employees have been trained appropriately and will be provided with full PPE. We are very confident that these safety measures go above and beyond the guidance provided by the Government and Public Health England."

Matalan's re-opening off Dysart Road follows the recent re-opening of Dunelm in Grantham.
