The largest-ever jump in the number of Coronavirus cases in Lincolnshire has just been announced.

Public Health England has revealed that as of 9am on Saturday, March 28, the county has 72 confirmed cases.

The increase of 19 compared with the 53 reported the day before.

No further deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. However, there have been four overall since the outbreak began

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which operates Grantham Hospital, in addition to hospitals at Boston, Lincoln and Louth, won't say in which hospitals the deaths occurred.

Nearby Nottinghamshire has 193 cases, Leicestershire has 141 cases and Peterborough has 21 cases.
