People aged 60 and over are now able to arrange their appointment at one of Lincolnshire's Large Vaccination Centres.

The centres are at Boston's Princess Royal Sports Arena or at the Lincolnshire Showground.

People are asked to book online by visiting www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or they can call 119 free of charge anytime between 7am and 11pm, seven days a week.

Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group says if you prefer to wait until an appointment is available with your GP or closer to your home address at one of its local vaccination sites, please wait to be contacted in due course as it continues to work through the national priority group order.

A spokesman continued: "Our GPs and their teams are currently focused on contacting people with underlying health conditions. If you would like to attend one of the county's large centres, please do so."

He added: "Those in Cohorts 8 and 9 should continue to wait for an invitation to book as the NHS will be in touch once it is their time to be vaccinated."

Cohort 8 is all those 55 years of age and over.

Cohort 9 is all those 50 years of age and over.
