More than 120 patients with COVID-19 have now been discharged from Lincolnshire's hospitals, bosses have said.

Deputy Chief Executive at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which runs Grantham, Boston, Lincoln and Louth hospitals, Mark Brassington revealed the figure on Twitter.

Those discharged are reportedly aged from one to 101-years-old.

Mr Brassington said: "As I end my three days leading the strategic cell and to some time off, it is good to see the increased number of COVID-19 patients discharged.

"Well done team ULHT. You are amazing."

According to the latest figures from the Department of Health, there have been 531 cases diagnosed in Lincolnshire.

A total of 69 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus have sadly died.
