The popular Cinco Lounge in Grantham looks set to remain closed for several week's more.

The venue outside the Isaac Newton Shopping Centre in High Street opened to a great fanfare in May 2018 in what used to be JJB Sports.

But due to the lockdown and government requirements on social distancing, its fans look set for a little wait.

General manager Bobby Holmes told Nub News today (Wed): "We haven't got a date for reopening as of yet, it will likely be around August but we are unsure.

"We have ensured our lounge remains a home from home but have adhered to government guidelines for social distancing and ensured all staff members are fully trained to deal with our new circumstances.

"We are exceptionally excited to be open again very soon and back for the local Grantham community."
