Coronavirus crisis: Grantham train users face cuts from LNER on East Coast Mainline

After launching a special, temporary weekday timetable on Monday this week, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) will implement a revised weekend timetable today and tomorrow.

From Monday March 30, further timetable changes will see around 40 per cent of LNER's usual weekday services running.

LNER says it will continue to operate services covering its core routes, including at peak times, to ensure key workers can get to and from work while also practicing good social distancing.

Advice for those people whose journeys are absolutely essential is to check before travelling.

Details of the most up to date timetables and travel information can be found at www.lner.co.uk or follow @LNER on Twitter.

As this remains a fast-moving situation, LNER says its services are subject to change.
