Lincolnshire health chiefs say the county's vaccination process has "got off to a great start."
The programme has seen the Meres Leisure Centre used as a Primary Care Network Vaccination Centre.
Lincolnshire Community Heath Services NHS Trust said: "We were amongst the first in the country to start vaccinating on 8th December through our first hospital hub at Lincoln County Hospital, we were amongst the first to start vaccinating through our GP led primary care network model.
"We are delighted that once again Lincolnshire is amongst the first in the country to be offering the new Astra Zeneca vaccination this week, at our latest hospital hub at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston."
The current vaccination sites in Lincolnshire are the hospital hubs at Lincoln County Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
There are also the following Primary Care Network vaccination centres:
Louth Community HospitalMeres Leisure Centre, Grantham
Waddington Branch Surgery, South LincolnSt Marys Medical Practice, Stamford
Franklin Hall, SpilsbySidings Medical Practice, Boston
Rustons Sports and Social Club, LincolnPortland Medical Practice, Lincoln
The trust statement, issued on Friday, continued: "The NHS in Lincolnshire is continuing to roll out the programme to more local sites which will become operational within the next week.
"Beyond that there will be two large vaccination sites and a roving service for the housebound delivered in the county. The NHS will continue to keep the public updated as these sites and vaccination services become available.
"Nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and other NHS staff will work alongside GPs to vaccinate those aged 80 and over, as well as care home workers and residents, identified as priority groups for the life-saving vaccine."
"The NHS will contact people in the priority groups when it is their turn to receive the vaccine. Patients do not need to contact their practice.
Among those receiving the vaccine this week was South Kesteven district councillor Mike Exton.
The district council said on social media: "Cllr Mike Exton has praised the staff & systems which allowed him to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in a "quick and easy" process at a surgery near his home.
"Cllr Exton (80) has undergone two kidney transplants and is in one of the most vulnerable sections of the population."
SKDC also confirmed: "People should only come to a vaccination centre for a jab if they've been invited. They will be contacted to arrange an appointment when they are invited to attend. Only the specific person invited will be offered a vaccine."
- Nub News wishes it to be known that the trust said in a press release Grantham Table Tennis Club was hosting the vaccination. We have since been informed that neither they or the tennis club is the location but the Meres Centre is. We are happy to amend the story.
