A Grantham Secondary School has 'closed' over reported cases of Coronavirus.

In an update of schools with cases of Coronavirus, Lincolnshire County Council said it was working with 29 schools with confirmed cases of Covid-19.

Among them, was Bluecoat Meres Academy in The Avenue, Grantham, which the county council listed as 'closed.'

Nub News rung the school for comment this afternoon, but there was no response.

The Kesteven and Grantham Girls School has also reported at least one confirmed case, according to the county council, and remains open.

Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School has also reported at least one confirmed case, but it also remains open.

Andy Fox, consultant in public health, said: "As of this morning, Lincolnshire's Health Protection Team is currently working with 29 schools that have had confirmed cases of coronavirus.

"All schools are taking action to limit the potential spread of the virus, with some pupils and staff self-isolating as a precaution where necessary."
