Another case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Lincolnshire.

The positive test will have happened between Wednesday March 25 and Thursday March 26.

The figure was revealed in the latest daily tally of coronavirus cases by Public Heath England.

Lincolnshire now has 32 cases, compared with 31 the day before.

The relatively small increase contrasts with the nationwide scene, which showed a significant increase.

Public Heath England revealed that as of Thursday there are 11,658 confirmed cases in the UK of which 2,129 cases came in between Wednesday and Thursday.

The number of deaths increased from 465 to 587 over the same period.

A spokesperson for United Lincolnshire NHS Trust told Grantham Nub News yesterday that there were no deaths at any of its hospitals.

Grantham Hospital had no cases to report either.

They added: "All of our hospitals are part of our preparedness planning and response."
