Health bosses are seeking temporary catering and domestic workers at Grantham Hospital.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust issued the appeal today as the country braces itself for an upsurge in Coronavirus cases.

The trust said: "As our planning around COVID-19 (coronavirus) progresses, plans are being put in place to re-deploy staff and seek additional support for services across United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

"We are in particular seeking temporary staff to support catering and domestic work at Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and Grantham and District Hospital.

"We are seeking people with housekeeping or catering experience. For catering, we would require only people who hold a current food hygiene certificate.

"All roles will be paid at the national living wage and will be appointed through our fast track process."

Volunteers are invited to come forward to offer their support by contacting [email protected].
