Coronavirus crisis: Government cash boost for gardens near Grantham

The Government today announced that two local organisations will be receiving a significant funding boost from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Culture Secretary, Rt Hon Oliver Downden CBE MP confirmed to Grantham MP Gareth Davies that Easton Walled Gardens will be receiving £77,800 and Skillington Workshop Limited will be receiving £17,200.

This funding comes from the Heritage Project Fund.

Commenting on the news the MP said: "The Government have consistently said they will support our historic monuments, buildings and green spaces. "The £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund will help to protect them through coronavirus and long in to the future. I am delighted that we have received local funding for two fantastic organisations."
