As the rollout of the covid vaccination programme continues at pace across Lincolnshire, people under the age of 40 are being asked to contact their GP practice if their address or mobile number has changed recently, to ensure it has their up to date contact details.

With the vaccination programme now beginning to vaccinate people aged 38 or over, as well as continuing to provide second doses, it is vital that your GP practice has your current mobile phone number so that it can contact you when it is your turn to be vaccinated and book you in.

Dr Adriaan van Biljon, Clinical Director, K2 Healthcare, Grantham and Rural Primary Care Network, said: "This really is critical for us, particularly for the Local Vaccination Centres who will contact people proactively when it is their turn to be vaccinated.

"So if you have not already been vaccinated and your contact details have changed, please let your GP practice know, especially if your mobile phone number has changed." And they add when you are contacted with an appointment, please ensure you take it – saying it is critical everybody has two vaccinations, in order to have the maximum protection.
