The elderflower harvest in the Vale of Belvoir has been completed early and in less than two weeks.

Belvoir Fruit Farms had expected the harvest to take a month, with 15-20 tonnes picked.

But by last week, 23 tonnes was picked in a record time, leaving the Bottesford drinks manufacturer enough supplies to last a year.

The full story can be found here.

Belvoir Fruit Farms says it will no longer accept any more flowers and asks for people to keep an eye on its website for details of next year's harvest.
