Bonfire Night has been cancelled at Belvoir Castle.

The castle and Engine Yard was due to show a major firework display on Saturday November 7.

The event was billed as 'spectacular' as the provider of the display MLE Pyrotechnics of Daventry is noted as one of the leading provider of fireworks and such displays in the country.

A Belvoir Castle spokeswoman confirmed to Nub News today (Sat): "Unfortunately the bonfire night won't be going ahead due to the Covid restrictions."

In the meantime, though, the Christmas Market, as previously reported by Nub News, is still going ahead.
