Dozens more cases of coronavirus were reported across Lincolnshire today.

The figures from Public Health England came as the county also recorded just one death at hospitals run by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.

However, four deaths were reported by the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust there were another four deaths.

The latest data for April 30, means Lincolnshire's death toll stands at 102, while North Lincolnshire's rises to 67.

ULHT said its latest coronavirus victim was a 70-year-old man with existing conditions.

There was no update from Peterborough City Hospital today and no further deaths were announced at Rutland Memorial Hospital, which yesterday revealed its first death happened on Sunday.

Across the UK, the death toll increased by 674 to 26,772.

The number of confirmed cases rose by 6,023 to 171,253.

The sharp rise in new cases can be explained by an extended testing regime.

Across the region, Leicestershire the number of confirmed cases increased from 884 to 896.

The number of confirmed cases in Lincolnshire increased from 804 to 828.

North East Lincolnshire reported a rise from 130 to 134.

North Lincolnshire reported a rise from 329 to 350.

Peterborough saw numbers of confirmed cases increase from 223 to 224.

Rutland remained at 20, according to official government figures.
