This summer's Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden Festival is set to be bigger and better than last year's inaugural event.
Enjoy a quintessentially British day out with beautiful garden inspiration and ideas - think picnic in the park meets Chelsea Flower Show. Relax with Pimms, music and strawberries and cream.
The festival is being held over the weekend of 13 and 14 July and will, once again, be set on the banks of the Belvoir upper lake.
Fed by the River Devon the spot boasts wonderful panoramic views of Belvoir Castle and the surrounding Capability Brown parkland landscape.
Inspiration for those with a love of gardening will be found from a mix of specialist plant growers, garden furniture, sculpture artists, show gardens, border displays, tools, and crafts - with plenty of opportunities to purchase something special for your own gardens.
Local artists will perform on the music stage and a range of foods and refreshments will also be on offer.
Meanwhile, in the talk's tent, expert horticulturists will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.
The panel will be led by John Stirland and include a mix of talks from Paula Routledge, Alan Mason, Nick Hamilton, Mark Smith, Karen Gimson, Andrew Fisher Tomlin, and Professor David Stevens.
Allotment and wellbeing ambassador Annabelle Padwick, from 'Life at No.27', will also be a guest to talk about her exciting gardening and GYO UK-wide vision and project, as will international floral designer Jonathan Moseley who will be providing demonstrations.
The festival will be supporting the Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society, along with three other nominated charities - Macmillan, Highground and Team Edward Labrador Rescue.
To keep up to date with the festival, follow the dedicated Facebook page 'The Belvoir Flower and Garden Festival'.
A day ticket to the festival includes on-site parking, live music, a question time panel and talks area, and access to the beautiful gardens at the castle. Admission to the castle building will be charged separately.
Early bird tickets, available until May 31, cost £12 per adult and £30 for a family (two adults and two children aged 5 to 16). Prices on the gate will be £15 per person, £35 family and £5 children (5 to 16).
