A1 Grantham bypass partially re-opens both ways

The A1 Grantham by-pass has partially re-opened after it was blocked totally this morning after a lorry overturned.
Highways England said just now: "Full A1 closures have been reopened. Lane 2 remains closed in both directions which recovery and maintenance crews deal with the clear up."
As Nub News reported previously, the A1 was closed in both directions from the A607 (Grantham & Melton turn-off) up to Barrowby (A52 Grantham & Nottingham) due to the serious collision.
Diversions were in operation.
Emergency services were at the scene.
There are no reports yet concerning any casualties.
