Grantham area coach company A&P Travel says it is "all systems go" for running coach trips again.
Earlier this week, the Osbournby-based company took to social media to reveal a programme of trips once lockdown is over.
The company commented on Facebook : "Having now had the chance to scrutinise the latest speech by our PM Boris Johnson, I am delighted to inform you that it is ....
All systems go! " But they warned this was providing all the statistics continue to work in our favour, government targets met and people behave themselves accordingly. "I can't begin to explain just how relieved I feel now that we have dates to work towards allowing us the opportunity to focus on the future even though it's another 7 weeks away. But the countdown is on!"We plan to recommence day excursions from Tuesday 13th April. This will allow you to visit the hairdressers or pub beer garden on the Monday previous. We want you looking your very best as we all begin to meet up once again.
"Once again, we will restart with a selection of local day excursions offering much needed help to our deserving local businesses within Lincolnshire.
"Work continues in finalising our day excursion brochures for all departure areas. Your copies will be printed shortly and hopefully be sent out by early March.
"If you have travelled with us previously over the last two years you will automatically receive a copy.
"If you are a potential new customer please let us know your address either by phone or email ([email protected]) and we'll gladly send you a copy. Digital copies will be available to view on our website or here on our Facebook page. "
The company continued: "Domestic holiday tours are permitted to recommence from Monday 17th May.
"Unfortunately this means that all departures prior to this date will regrettably have to be cancelled or rescheduled where possible. We continue to liaise with our hotel partners to offer alternative dates wherever possible. We are working our way through contacting all affected customers and we ask for your patience as we proceed with this task.
"There may be one or two exceptions to the above depending on devolved governmental differences and changing situations. Unfortunately at the moment we are not all in unison. We continue to ask for your understanding during these difficult times.
"Continental holidays will be reassessed following the government review of all data in May. At this point in time, we remain cautiously optimistic for our European tours in the months that lay ahead.
"All relevant covid guidelines and protocols will be adhered to for all tours and excursions. As previously stated these plans/dates still remain subject to government targets being met according to their roadmap.
"Our 2021 holiday brochure is available and can be viewed by clicking the link here.
"Once again I'm so pleased to report that we've experienced yet another busy day accepting holiday bookings for later in the year. Thankfully the vaccine program continues to be successful allowing us increased hope for the brighter days that lay ahead.
"Our booking office will unfortunately remain closed to visitors in line with current lockdown restrictions until Monday 12th April. However we will be answering the phone lines and more than happy to accept any future bookings with limited office hours of 1000-1400 on Monday to Friday.
"We really do appreciate your continued support and custom through these challenging economic times.
"The PM clearly stated that "There is no credible route to a Zero Covid Britain or indeed a Zero Covid World and we cannot persist indefinitely with restrictions that debilitate our economy, our physical and mental well-being. "
"Therefore when the time is right for each individual, and we'll all come out of it when we're ready but we do need to cautiously reclaim our lives."
The post added: "Enjoying a day out or a holiday break, taking the chance to socialise responsibly and simply just experience life beyond your doorstep once more, provides such an important mental relief and a much needed boost to your health and well-being.
"I would be very, very grateful if you could share this post and spread the word to any potential customers who may be interested in exploring this great country of ours or those customers who don't use social media platforms.
"With Mothering Sunday approaching, Please remember that do we sell gift vouchers for that special occasion. What present could be better than the gift of travel and freedom for the year ahead.
"Please stay positive just that little longer, keep the faith because #betterdaysarecoming and #brochuresarecoming and they are coming very soon.
Keep on keeping safeThe A&P family"
