The first-ever Ladies' Night at Belvoir Castle's Engine Yard shopping village promises exclusive discounts, live music, yoga demonstrations and top food tips.

Being held next Friday, 11 October, Ladies' Night is the first in a series of evening events at the Engine Yard exclusively for ladies.

Each event is designed to bring together local people from across the Vale of Belvoir and further afield for a relaxing, social occasion with the added benefit of discounts, experiences and live demonstrations.

The idea is the brainchild of Emma, Duchess of Rutland. She says: "The Engine Yard really does sit at the heart of the Vale. It's a place where local people can come together to shop, eat, meet and drink.

"With Ladies' Night, I wanted to create a safe, shared space for local ladies to enjoy an evening together.

"We have live music in the Balloon Bar from Katie Louise & A Bit on the Side so once people finish shopping they'll be able to enjoy themselves with a drink and perhaps even a dance!

"We're even offering special discounts on bottles of Pink Prosecco for the evening."

Among the retailers taking part in Ladies' Night are The Idle Mole, Margo & Plum, Jorge Artisan Food, Crafts4Kids and PEEQ.

The Duchess' Gallery is also revealing its new brand partnerships, stocking items from Barbour, Joules and Scotch & Soda. Lauren Beebe from Farrow & Ball will be presenting its new colour palette at Margo & Plum.

Taster sessions will take place at Sunita Passi Wellness Centre and Shop, the Vale's first dedicated destination for yoga, meditation, herbal medicine, luxury treatments and natural skincare.

The Wellness Centre comprises a yoga/meditation studio, Ayurvedic and holistic treatments, a clinic for medical herbalism and Ayurvedic medicine shop and own brand natural skincare.

Sunita Passi says: "This is a fantastic way to entice visitors to the Engine Yard.

"Who doesn't want exclusive deals and opportunities to try before you buy?

"We're looking forward to welcoming ladies looking to discover more about Ayurvedic medicine, as well as yoga and meditation."

Tickets are £7 per person and include one free drink at the Balloon Bar.
