Two police officers were injured after a stolen car 'rammed' into them on a Grantham road earlier today.
Two men have been arrested and police are still seeking a third, following the incident reported around 10.20am.
As Nub News reported previously, the incident happened on Springfield Road, which was blocked for several hours and has now re-opened.
In a statement, Lincolnshire Police said: "Officers attended an incident of a suspicious vehicle driving erratically on Springfield Road, Grantham.
"As the officers were travelling to the location, a blue Honda HR-V drove in between the marked police car and a black Volvo resulting in a minor collision."
The statement continued: "Two officers in the vehicle received minor injuries and were taken to hospital to be assessed. The occupants of the black Volvo were uninjured. A helicopter was deployed to help search the area. Two males were arrested with one still outstanding."
Chief Inspector Pil Vickers also said on twitter: "Police Officers in

"Innocent members of the public also involved - Thankfully not injured."
He added: "Safety and welfare of Public & Officers is paramount when criminals drive dangerously on our roads."
