Grantham Savoy Cinema assault update: Man and woman identified

A man and woman police wanted to speak to in connection with an assault at Grantham's Savoy Cinema have now been identified.

Police released CCTV images of the two on Tuesday (14 Jan) and appealed for the public's help to name them.

Today a force spokesman said: "We have identified the man and woman in the images.

"They will be spoken to in due course.

"We would like to thank the public for their support with our appeal."

The incident happened on January 10, at around 6pm, when police recieved a report that a man and woman had attempted to gain access to screens at the Savoy Cinema and assaulted a staff member who had challenged them.

The cinema employee was shaken, but uninjured.
