Grantham residents urged to ensure they are register to vote

South Kesteven District Council is encouraging anyone not yet registered to vote to go online and register if they want to have their say in the General Election in December.

Thursday, 12 December is polling day for the Parliamentary election and Grantham people have until midnight on Tuesday, 26 November to register.

You need to be on the electoral register to vote in elections and referendums. The good news is it's quick and easy to do by clicking the red button below.

Paul Thomas, electoral registration officer, said: "If you have not yet registered or you have moved to a new house and not completed a new application you should register as soon as possible to be able to vote in the December parliamentary election."

The deadline for applications to be submitted for postal votes is 5pm on Tuesday. 26 November.
