Lincolnshire County Council is seeking your views on climate change.

The latest County Views survey asks residents their thoughts about what they can do to help tackle the problem.

The council launched its 'County Views' residents' panel last year to help shape services and develop ideas.

Residents from across Greater Lincolnshire who are members of the panel receive short surveys just three times a year.

In the latest survey, as well as a series of general questions, panel members are asked about the actions they take – such as making choices around home energy and reducing waste – and how positive they feel about how these measures are helping to tackle climate change.

If you live anywhere in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire or North East Lincolnshire, why not join the panel helping to shape council policies and priorities.

Cllr Martin Hill, leader of Lincolnshire County Council, said: "The Government has set an objective for the country to reach net zero carbon by 2050. In order to achieve this target, the County Council is taking actions to reduce its own carbon emissions through our Green Master Plan.

"However, in order to reach the net zero carbon target by 2050, business, organisations and the wider community will all have to take actions.

"Many small scale individual actions will add up to allow society to meet the target: that's why we want to hear from residents about what actions they might take now and in the future."

To join, visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/countyviews. Once you've signed up, you'll receive the latest survey within a week.

The climate change County Views survey will run until Monday 13 September 2021.
